홍대순 원장은 약 20여년간 세계 최초의 글로벌 경영컨설팅 회사(1886년 미국 설립, 1965년도에 한국정부와 경제개발계획 컨설팅 수행) 인 아서 디 리틀(Arthur D. Little, ADL) 에 근무하면서 국내 및 해외 굴지의 기업 및 다양한 산업을 대상으로 (전자,IT, 기계, 중공업, 화학, 에너지, 소비재 산업등) 비전 및 중장기 전략수립, 신사업전략, 글로벌 성장전략, 구조조정, M&A 및 PMI(Post Merger Integration) 전략수립, 운영혁신, 프로세스 개선, 인사 및 조직개편 등의 전략컨설팅을 수행해 왔습니다.
한국은 물론 이거니와 ADL 아시아, 유럽, 미국 글로벌 오피스와 함께 일을 하면서 풍부한 글로벌컨설팅 경험 및 글로벌감각을 보유하고있는 경영베테랑입니다.
홍대순 박사는 민간기업 뿐만이 아니라, 국가/정부 및 공공기관을 대상으로 정책 및 전략수립의 축적된경험과 노하우, 그리고 노련함을 지니고 있습니다. 아울러 청와대 출연연선진화 기획단 위원 활동 역임과 더불어 국토교통부 산하기관의 비상임이사, 기획재정부, 산업통상자원부, 과학기술부 등 정부부처/기관의 자문, 평가위원 등의 활동을 해왔습니다.
또한 130여년의 역사를 지닌 전세계 최고의 여자대학인 이화여대 교수로서 비즈니스 실전에 대한 이슈를 바탕으로 학생들에게 CEO 로서의 안목을 키워주는데 커다란 역할을 했습니다.
대한민국 대표적인 경영저널 중의 하나인 동아비즈니스리뷰(DBR) 의 편집자문위원을 수행, 현재는 조선미디어그룹에서 발간하는 이코노미조선의 자문위원, 기술경영경제학회 부회장, 한국전략경영학회 이사, 중소기업학회 이사로 활동하고 있습니다.

Hong Dae-soon worked for Arthur D. Little, the world's first global management consulting company (founded in the United States in 1886 and conducted economic development planning consulting with the Korean government in 1965) for about 20 years and conducted strategic consulting on vision and mid- to long-term strategies, new business strategies, global growth strategies, restructuring, M&A and PMI strategies, operational innovation, process improvement, personnel and reorganization, etc. for domestic and overseas companies.
He is a management veteran who has abundant global consulting experience and global sense while working with Guinea, ADL Asia, Europe, and the U.S. global offices as well as Korea.
Dr. Hong Dae-soon has accumulated experience, know-how, and experience in establishing policies and strategies not only for private companies but also for national/government and public institutions. In addition, he has served as a member of the Cheong Wa Dae's Development Planning Group, as well as as non-executive directors of agencies under the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, and Transport, consulting and evaluating government ministries and agencies such as the Ministry of Trade, Industry, and Technology.
In addition, as a professor at Ewha Womans University, the world's top women's university with a history of more than 130 years, he played a big role in developing students' vision as CEO based on the issues of business practice.
He serves as an editorial advisor to Dong-A Business Review (DBR), one of Korea's leading business journals, and is currently an advisor to Economy Chosun published by Chosun Media Group, vice president of Technology Management Economics Association, Korea Strategic Management Association, and Small Business Association.
Director Hong Dae-soon is a columnist in broadcasting, major newspapers, and journals based on various management and economic topics, and has given numerous lectures at companies, institutions, associations, and universities as well as speeches at international symposiums, World Knowledge Forum, and National Assembly Forum.
Major books include "The Art of Business," "Secret of Global Startup," "Entrepreneurship," and "Industry 4.0," and have won awards such as ministerial awards
