Kim Young-hwan, Governor of North Chungcheong Province, is a South Korean politician who currently serves as Governor of North Chungcheong Province. He is a four-term lawmaker who served as Minister of Science and Technology and a member of the Supreme Council of the People's Party. He is from Goesan County, North Chungcheong Province, and has received bachelor's and master's degrees from Yonsei University's dental school and graduate school of economics.


Under the slogan of the 8th popular election to renew Chungbuk and make provincial residents excited, the government is actively fostering the future high-tech industry of Chungbuk, and by adding creative imagination to the provincial government, it is improving the quality of life for provincial residents and laying the foundation for sustainable growth.

Representatively, innovative policies such as postpaid medical expenses, Lake Park Renaissance, high-tech complex creation, and AI bio gifted high schools are being promoted.
