He was a top star in the 1990s and graduated from the 18th MBC Open Service. Born in Daegu Metropolitan City, he entered the Department of Theater at Seoul National University of Arts. After debuting in the play 'Jesus Christ Superstar' in 1979, he worked in the theater industry and became an MBC public recruitment talent in 1986. Representative works include large-scale works such as Dawn's Eyes and Sandglass, which are considered the best dramas of all time in Korea.
He played a good role with his unique good impression and gentlemanly image, and many related commercials also appeared. Currently, he reduces his role as a TV actor and serves as the chairman of the Seoul Cultural Foundation, He is spending his second acting life as a theater/musical stage and photographer.
