Han In-seok began his career as a researcher at the University of Michigan's School of Medicine after obtaining a Bachelor of Chemistry at Hanyang University and a Ph.D. in Biochemistry at Washington State University. After that, he established M-Biotech and served as its CEO, and served as an overseas advisor to the Korea Small and Medium Business Administration. In 2013, Utah University, recognized as the best research university in the U.S., was appointed president of Utah University's Asia Campus in establishing it in Songdo.
