KBS에서 33년간 근무하면서 명성황후, 무인시대, 천추태후, 대왕의 꿈 등 430 편에 달하는 역사 드라마를 제작했고, 비밀의 남자, 신사와 아가씨 등 총 1,200 편이 넘는 드라마를 제작하였다.

최근 10년간 한국방송 감독 중에서 가장 많은 작품수를 기록하였고, 특히 ‘Young Lady and Gentleman’ 은 2020년 이후 한국방송 최고 시청률(38%) 을 기록했다.

또한 그는 2023년 6월 기부문화 확산을 위해 60명의 연예인들과 봉사단을 설립, 30회가 넘게 소외된 아이들, 노인들을 위해 봉사를 실천하기도 했다.

Director Shin Chang-suk has worked at KBS for 33 years, producing an impressive portfolio of over 1,200 drama episodes. This includes around 430 historical dramas such as Empress Myeongseong, Age of Warriors, Empress Cheonchu, and The King’s Dream, as well as popular contemporary series like A Man in a Veil and Young Lady and Gentleman.

Over the past decade, he has been recognized as the most prolific director in Korean broadcasting. Notably, Young Lady and Gentleman achieved the highest national TV ratings since 2020, reaching an audience share of 38%.

In addition to his work in television, Director Shin founded a volunteer group in June 2023 with 60 celebrities to promote a culture of giving.

He has since led over 30 volunteer initiatives to support underprivileged children and the elderly.
