이경일 부회장은 아이티센그룹의 CIO(Chief Investment Officer, 그룹 투자총괄)는 그룹 차원의 전략적 투자 방향을 수립하고 실행하는 핵심 리더로서, 신성장 동력 확보를 위한 다양한 투자 활동을 총괄한다. 국내외 ICT, 인공지능, 데이터 기술 등 미래 핵심 산업 분야에 대한 심도 있는 시장 분석을 바탕으로 투자 기회를 발굴하고, 이를 기반으로 M&A, 전략적 지분 투자, 합작법인 설립 등 다양한 형태의 투자를 주도한다.

또한, 그룹 내 계열사 간 시너지 창출을 위한 포트폴리오 전략을 수립하고, 투자 이후의 성과 관리와 리스크 통제를 통해 재무적 및 전략적 가치를 극대화하는 역할을 수행한다.

The Chief Investment Officer (CIO) of ITCEN Group plays a pivotal leadership role in formulating and executing the group’s overall investment strategy. This position is responsible for identifying and driving strategic investments that secure future growth engines, with a particular focus on emerging sectors such as ICT, artificial intelligence, and data technologies. Based on in-depth market analysis, the CIO leads a variety of investment initiatives including mergers and acquisitions (M&A), strategic equity investments, and joint ventures.

Furthermore, the CIO designs and manages the group’s investment portfolio to maximize synergy across subsidiaries, while overseeing post-investment performance and implementing robust risk management practices. The role also involves systematizing and refining the investment review process, fostering trusted relationships with external stakeholders and investors, and ensuring transparent reporting of investment outcomes.
